PADI Divemaster

The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting your trim, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management, and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. Whether you want to work at a faraway dive destination or close to home at a local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you. PADI Divemasters are respected dive professionals who are aligned with the largest and most respected dive organisation in the world – PADI.

Divemasters are now also able to Instruct a range of PADI specialties that we are able to teach you. These include Coral Reef Conservation, Project AWARE Specialist, Digital Underwater Photography, Emergency o2 Provider, EFR and Equipment Specialist.

Course Overview

The PADI Divemaster course consists of four main sections:

  • Divemaster theory and exams.
  • Dedicated mentors.
  • Lake and pool sessions.
  • Workshops.

Duration

The time it takes to become a Divemaster depends on your availability. We are flexible and can tailor your divemaster course to your needs and timings.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for you to enroll on the course are:

  • Rescue Diver with 40 logged dives.
  • 18 yrs old. If you are under 18, check out the Junior Divemaster.
  • Medical statement.
  • CPR and First Aid Training (we can provide this).

Course Locations

The course will be completed at an open water lake:

  • Lewisham Pool
  • Bromley Pool
  • Wraysbury Lake
  • Buckland Lake

Course Costs

The £549 course fee, theory, logbook, pool sessions, kit hire, tank fills, lake training, and certification. This does not include lake entry at £15 per day.

Completion

Once you’ve completed the PADI Open Water Course, you have learned the basic principles of scuba diving, and you are equipped with the knowledge and experience you need to enjoy open water dives. You’ll receive your PADI e-certification and an invite to join our scuba diving club and continue your diving!
